The golf club is located on the coast of Weston Bay in the traditional seaside resort of
Weston-super-Mare. Established in 1892, the course offers a true test of links golf with its rolling fairways and challenging wind conditions.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse was officially opened in April 1905, with improvements made in the 1920s. There are bar and dining facilities together with Men's and Ladies' locker rooms. There is also a members' snooker room.

The main bar and dining areas underwent extensive refurbishment in Spring 2007, which has further enhanced the facilities, providing a choice of bars: either the more relaxed spike bar of the Royal Sands Bar, or the Links Lounge, which adjoins the MacKenzie Dining Room.

Private Functions

The Lounge Bar is an ideal venue for private functions - perhaps a wedding reception or anniversary dinner or for celebrating a special birthday. The catering provided is second to none, and all occasions can be catered for. Andy and his team can be reached on 01934 626968 (Ext 4).

PGA Professional - Mike LaBand

In a continuing effort to provide the Club with the best coaching available, Mike LaBand, who has been head Coaching PGA Professional at Weston for over 11 years, has provided the solution to wet and windy days on the practice ground and the long winter nights by transforming an unused room into a modern indoor coaching studio with video analysis.

Golfers have long enjoyed their lessons with Mike. His teaching abilities range from juniors as young as four, to Club Champions and elite level players, including one of the South West's lowest handicap golfers.

We offer a fully stocked Pro Shop, with something for everyone. Retail Pro, Alex Murray, provides a vast range of goods and club repair services.
