Hole Eighteen

On the way home now and many a good card has been ruined by going out of bounds to the right. Cross bunkers about 130 yards from the green should not come into play, but two greenside bunkers short left of the green often do as players hit left to counter the prevailing breezes to avoid going out of bounds. There is also a bunker to the right making the entrance to the green a little narrow. If you are protecting a good score, play it as a five hole!

Pro's Tip

This hole looks straight but it's not. A line from the men's tee to the green is looking down the left hand rough. A tee shot hit at the right hand fairway bunker will give you a good line in to the green. This is another hole were the bunkers at the front of the green have dead ground beyond them. Take enough club to get you well on the green.
