“In the summer of 2021 we moved into the area and went on search of a golf club. Joining Weston was a no brainer as there is golf all year round on first class greens.
We were welcomed by the chairman and given information about the club, course, teams, roll ups and social. After a complimentary round we joined and paid our subscription. The roll ups open to all standards were an excellent way to meet fellow members and we soon felt very much part of the club. There were lots of opportunities to play friendly (though we like to win) matches and play other clubs.
The social side with themed evenings, whist nights, etc proved another way to get to know people. In short Weston is a very friendly club and all the staff make you feel welcome. Joining Weston was a good move for us.”

“The first day I walked into WSMGC to enquire about membership I was “accosted” by a group of ordinary members who enthusiastically encouraged me to join. A welcome I found impossible to resist and which I am glad I didn’t.
I’ve had four great years here so far and have enjoyed playing golf and socialising with players of all abilities. I’ve yet to meet a “proper” golfer in this club unhappy about playing golf with one of my ability (30 handicap).
Even if you’re thinking of joining on your own and don’t know anybody here, it won’t be long until you feel at home.”

“In my 21 years here at the club I have never closed the course.”
