Welcome to our ladies section. We have approximately 80 ladies including 18-hole players, 9-hole players and quite a large group of social members.

Our competitions, of which there are many varied formats with a plethora of trophies to be won, are played on a Tuesday morning with Saturday midday being an alternative day.

League wise we have two teams in the Bristol and District Golf Alliance League, as well as a Friendly team to encourage new and old players to enjoy the competitiveness and social aspects of golf.

Alongside the regular competitions we host three opens yearly which are always been well supported.  Further, we annually select ladies to participate in several knockout competitions hosted by Somerset Ladies County Golf Association, R & A and BDLGA, and have had some great results.

2025 saw one of our ladies turn professional.  This has resulted in a boost of regular group or one on one lessons which have proved invaluable.

My charity of choice this year is Weston Hospice which has for 35 years provided free care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families.  Only 20% of their funding comes from the government, therefore charity is very much welcomed.

The ladies committee work alongside the Club Captain and Management Committee to ensure that the section runs smoothly, and we have a healthy section.
