Hole One
Testing tee shot for an opening hole with character it’s so called because of a rise in the ground at about the limit of the average player’s drive. The long hitters, in all but the most adverse conditions, drive over the ridge. The second shot is more demanding with dunes on the right and a bunker to the left of the green.
Pro’s Tip
“The tee shot on this hole can make the shot to the green easier by not going too far. The fairway is at its widest just before the ramps and is only a mid iron from the green. If you are on the ramp after your tee shot, plan for your next shot to go higher than normal, so take an extra club.”
